3Data Controller

BBN55 acts as the Data Controller in respect of personal data collected through the Platform. As Data Controller, BBN55 is responsible for determining the purposes for which your personal data is processed and for ensuring that such processing is carried out lawfully, fairly and transparently.

7Data Sharing & Disclosure

7.1 Service Providers

8KYC & AML Data Handling

KYC documents are stored securely in encrypted form and are accessible only by authorised personnel involved in the verification process. They are shared with contracted KYC verification service providers only where necessary to complete the verification process.

9Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements with you. Specific retention periods include:

• Account & Transaction Records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of account closure or last transaction, in line with standard AML record-keeping requirements;
• KYC Documentation: Retained for the duration of the account relationship plus the applicable post-closure retention period required by AML obligations;
• Support Communications: Retained for up to three (3) years from the date of the relevant interaction;
